His Eminence Vladyka Savva celebrated the All-Night Vigil in the Cathedraltranslated

On the evening of September 10, on the eve of the day of remembrance of the Beheading of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary led the service of the All-Night Vigil in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ. The archpastor was served by the sacristan and clergy of the cathedral. At the polyeleos the Gospel account was read about the beheading of Saint John the Baptist, who was imprisoned for exposing the iniquity of the ruler Herod (Matthew 14:1-13). At the canons, His Eminence Archbishop Sava anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil, wishing for each of those approaching the anointing to save their souls through the prayerful intercession of the holy Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John.
