June 27, 2026 · 1 min read

On the evening of June 27, on the eve of the 4th Sunday after Pentecost, Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka celebrated an all-night vigil at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

His Eminence was served by Priest Roman Nikitin, acting rector of the cathedral, and Priest Maxim Kartashov, cleric of the cathedral.

The liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Trinity Cathedral.

At Vespers, His Eminence Bishop Theodore performed a litia with the consecration of five loaves, wheat, wine and oil. During Matins, after reading the Holy Gospel, Archbishop Theodore anointed those gathered in the church with consecrated oil.
