For the first time, Sunday School students sang the Divine Liturgy with the monastery choirtranslated

On September 13, 2026, pupils of the Sunday School of the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery sang the Divine Liturgy for the first time together with the monastery choir. The guys have been working towards this event for several years. First, they sang chants for the parishioners, then they sang litanies at the Liturgy together with the sister monastery choir, and on December 26, 2024, the children’s choir sang for the first time at the Divine Liturgy in the chapel of St. Nicholas at the Veterans’ Home. From that time on, during the holidays, Sunday school students helped Priest Pavel Kravchuk during the Liturgy. And today - September 13, 2026 - the guys sang in the Summer Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary together with the sister monastery choir. The kids also wanted to join the older and middle groups.

And at the end of the service, everyone was invited to have tea with Abbess Alexandra (Zharin). Mother congratulated everyone on the beginning of the school year and their first Liturgy as choristers, and also treated them to sweets. Before the start of classes, a commemorative photo was taken near the school building.
