Vladimir Church celebrated its patronal feast daytranslated

On July 28, on the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus', at the Bishop's Compound - in the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the patronal feast was celebrated.

The Divine Liturgy on this day was performed by the secretary of the Simbirsk diocesan administration, Priest Roman Solodko, the rector of the church, Archpriest Svyatoslav Erenkov, Archpriest Pavel Putilkin, Archpriest Sergius Gordopolov, and Priest Sergius Eremeev, co-served by Protodeacon Alexander Levitsky.

After the Liturgy, a procession of the cross was held and a prayer was held according to a special rite with gratitude to God “for the good deeds that you have poured out on our land from its Baptism to the present day.”

At the end of the service, priest Roman Solodko, on behalf of Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky, congratulated everyone who prayed during the service on the holiday, reminded of the history of the temple and its role for the residents of the Zavolzhsky region.

— I wish all of you, dear brothers and sisters, that the work of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir continues to live, as does the special blessed mission of this temple.
