Faith helps to develop moral guidelines in childrentranslated

On July 3, a significant event took place in the Priozersk deanery, which became a striking example of close cooperation between the Church and the education system. The off-site meeting of the heads of educational institutions of the Priozersky district began not with traditional reports, but with a common prayer for wisdom in mentoring the younger generation.

Heads of kindergartens, school directors, methodologists and representatives of the education committee, headed by Irina Kravchenko, went on a spiritual journey through the churches of the deanery. The first point of the route was the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Plodovoye. Here the meeting participants offered a prayer, asking the Lord for wisdom and blessings for their labors.

Then the delegation visited the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the village of Kuznechnoye. The rector of the temple, Priest Vladimir Kurkin, warmly welcomed the guests, gave them a tour and shared his experience of cooperation between the parish and the local school. This living example clearly demonstrates how faith helps to develop moral guidelines in children.
