An evening service with the reading of an akathist for chant on August 9, 2026 at the Peter and Paul Cathedral in Gomel was performed by His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin.
His Eminence was co-served by the secretary of the Gomel diocese, Archpriest Georgy Alampiev, and the clergy of the cathedral.
At the end of the service, the bishop anointed the believers with consecrated oil and gave everyone the archpastoral blessing.
