On September 5, a meeting was held between the mothers and wives of Zvenigorod soldiers, members of the Northern Military District, who were killed or missing. The meeting took place in the refectory of the Alexander Nevsky Church in Zvenigorod. According to tradition, those gathered collected parcels for the front, then, over lunch, discussed pressing issues and shared their thoughts. The head of the Assistance Service for SVO participants and members of their families of the Odintsovo diocese, Archpriest Alexander Karlyuk, took part in the conversation.

Thank you for telling me. It’s good that at the Alexander Nevsky Church they continue this tradition with parcels and tea drinking. Father Alexander Karlyuk always listens very carefully, this is important for women who have lost their husbands or sons.
