A meeting of clergy, nurses and doctors was held in Zhlobintranslated

On September 24, 2026, a working meeting dedicated to pre-abortion psychological counseling was held at the antenatal clinic of the Zhlobin Central District Hospital.

It was attended by the rector of the parish of the Church of St. Basil the Great in Zhlobin, priest Vyacheslav Ryabitsa, sister of mercy Z. I. Budnikova, who heads the anti-abortion counseling service, and medical workers.

Participants discussed how to improve psychological support for women making a decision to continue pregnancy, and what difficulties volunteers face during consultations.

Turning to the Holy Scriptures, priest Vyacheslav Ryabitsa recalled the Christian understanding of life as a gift of God and the need to protect it from the moment of conception. He called on health workers to help women maintain their pregnancies and support them in difficult circumstances.

The head of the antenatal clinic, Ekaterina Surovtseva, thanked the clergyman and volunteers for their many years of work.
