Participants in the construction of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord were awarded in Vetkatranslated

On July 26, 2026, after the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the city of Vetka, an award ceremony was held for former heads of organizations and departments of the Vetka district who assisted in its construction.

For their contribution to the construction of the temple, they were awarded medals of the Gomel diocese in honor of Righteous John of Kormyansk and Venerable Manefa of Gomel.

The rector of the parish, Archpriest Mikhail Borisyonok, thanked them for the help provided during the construction period. The priest noted that their participation made it possible to resolve a number of organizational and economic issues and overcome difficulties that arose during the work.

The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Vetka was consecrated in 2003.

On behalf of the parishioners, Archpriest Mikhail wished the recipients health, mental and physical strength and long life.
