Meetings about family values were held in Gomel educational institutionstranslated

Family, continuity of generations and respect for human life were discussed at meetings at Gymnasium No. 10 of Gomel and Gomel State Medical College. They took place on September 22, 2026 as part of the project “For Life, Morality and Family Values.”

The conversations were conducted by Elena Yaroshevich, project curator, methodologist and lecturer of traveling exhibitions, deputy director of the Alexei Talai Foundation.

At the gymnasium, 50 students in grades 9–10 took part in the meeting. It was about relationships with loved ones and the life experiences of older generations. Using proverbs and sayings as an example, the lecturer showed how folk wisdom reflects ideas about family, care and mutual respect.

More than 80 people gathered at the medical college. Future doctors were talked about respect for human life and responsibility for those they will help.
