From August 28 to September 2, 2026, spiritual and educational events, prayer singing, and spiritual and educational conversations took place in pre-trial detention centers, correctional institutions and penal inspections located on the territory of the Odintsovo diocese. They were timed to coincide with the Memorial Day of St. Pimen of Ugreshsky.

The central event was the visit of the chairman of the Commission for Prison Ministry of the Odintsovo Diocese, priest Ioann Loboda, to correctional colony No. 5 in the city of Mozhaisk. On September 1, 2026, he performed a prayer service together with the colony staff. In his sermon, Father John spoke about the saint’s life journey - an example of fortitude, humility and service to one’s neighbor, as well as about his work on the construction of the Nikolo-Ugreshsky Monastery. The priest sprinkled the office offices with blessed water, held a spiritual and educational conversation, answered questions from employees and invited them to services at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Mozhaisk.
