In the Tevriz region, the Poklonny Cross was consecrated on the site of a lost churchtranslated

On the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, with the blessing of Bishop Vincent, the rector of the Ilyinsky Church in the regional village of Tevriz, priest Alexey Tishchenko, traveled to the site of the disappeared village of Novonikolsk, where he consecrated the Worship Cross, installed on the site of the former St. Nicholas Church.

The liturgical trip was organized and delivered by the priest on a swamp vehicle by the honorary citizen of Tevriz, Mikhail Sergeevich Lavinov.

After performing the rite of consecration at the site of the destroyed shrine, Father Alexey visited the rural cemetery, where he performed a memorial service for the deceased residents of Novonikolsk and surrounding villages. A prayer was offered for the repose of the souls of all who served, lived and worked on this earth, whose names remained in the eternal memory of the Creator and Source of Life.
