In Snezhinsk, a wooden chapel in an old cemetery was renovatedtranslated

At the old city cemetery of Snezhinsk, the restoration of a wooden chapel, which is about 30 years old, has been completed. This place has a special significance for the city: before the construction of the main church, Divine liturgies were regularly celebrated here. Today, funeral services and funeral commemorations are held in the chapel. Over the course of three decades, the log frame fell into disrepair, the roof insulation was damaged by birds, and the old benches fell into disrepair. During the restoration, the walls of the chapel were put in order and painted, and the street benches were completely updated - the seats and backs were replaced. The main stage of the work was the renovation of the dome. On the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, a new cross, previously consecrated, was installed on the chapel. It replaced the old one, which had faded over time. The parish thanks everyone who took part in the restoration of the cemetery shrine. CDRO Chelyabinsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church.
