A missionary event was held in the Simbirsk diocese for the Day of the Baptism of Rus'translated

On July 26, a missionary event dedicated to the Day of the Baptism of Rus' was held on Dvortsovaya Street, next to the Spassky Convent.

The head of the diocesan missionary department, Priest Vladimir Manyakov, performed a prayer service for the return to the fold of the Church of people in schism and sects and delivered a sermon on the role of the Baptism of Rus' in the history of the country. The priest answered questions from citizens and guests of the city.

Volunteers distributed Gospels, holiday-themed brochures, and booklets with information about church sacraments and Christian life.
