A priest took part in the workshop “Cossack outpost: family traditions as the basis for educating a young patriot”translated

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, within the framework of the VII Yuzhno-Sakhalin educational forum “Education is the energy of the future”, a workshop workshop “Cossack outpost: family traditions as the basis for educating a young patriot” was held.

With the blessing of Archbishop Nikanor, the dean of the Yuzhno-Sakhalin city deanery, head of the diocesan department for interaction with the Cossacks, Archpriest Pavel Alekseev, took part in the seminar.

The key topic of the meeting was the inclusion of a regional component in educational programs. The priest spoke about the inextricable connection between the Cossacks and Orthodoxy. He noted that raising a patriot is impossible without relying on faith and family values, and the role of the teacher is to form the spiritual core of the younger generation.

Also, as part of the seminar, Olga Anatolyevna Dementyeva, an expert in the field of pedagogy and psychology, senior lecturer at the regional Institute for Educational Development, made a presentation, sharing her professional view on the implementation of regional standards in education.
