On July 3, on the eve of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, a round table “Spiritual Conversation with a Priest” was held at the Russian Center of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants were presented with an animated film dedicated to the life of the holy saints Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom. After the viewing, a discussion took place, during which those gathered shared their impressions and reflections on the spiritual feat of the patron saints of the Christian family.

The main topic of the meeting was traditional family values based on the Orthodox understanding of marriage. The participants talked about love as sacrificial service to one's neighbor, the mutual fidelity of spouses, the responsibility of husband and wife to each other, as well as the importance of family in raising the younger generation.

The round table was attended by the dean of the Central District, Archpriest Sergius Verbitsky, and the chairman of the diocesan department for work with youth, Archpriest Nikita Zaveryukha, who answered questions from the meeting participants.
