In the Russian Guard of the Mezhdurechensky urban district, a meeting of employees with a priest was heldtranslated

On August 13, 2026, the next spiritual and educational meeting of personnel with Priest Evgeny Sedin, rector of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Usinsky, took place in the division of the Russian Guard of the Mezhdurechensky urban district.

The meeting was dedicated to the Dormition Fast, as well as the upcoming Orthodox holidays - the Carrying of the Venerable Trees of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the Transfiguration of the Lord and the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Eugene told the military personnel about the spiritual significance of these days, their history and traditions, as well as the importance of fasting as a time of prayer, internal transformation and spiritual strengthening of a person.

Such meetings with the personnel of the Russian Guard in the Mezhdurechensky urban district are held on an ongoing basis and are a good tradition. They take place both on the initiative of the clergyman and at the invitation of the unit’s command.

Such meetings help military personnel not only become more deeply acquainted with the Orthodox tradition, but also turn to eternal moral values, issues of spiritual life, responsibility, service to the Fatherland and neighbors.
