Bells sounded for the first time in the village of Tyelga on the Feast of the Transfigurationtranslated

On the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, an annual prayer service and religious procession took place in the village of Tyelga, Miass urban district. The service was performed by the rector of the St. Elias Church in the village of Novoandreevka, Archpriest Dimitry Kudryakov. The main surprise for local residents was the mobile belfry brought by parishioners. For the first time, a real bell ringing sounded over the village. After the blessing of water and the traditional blessing of the fruits, believers held a religious procession through the streets of Tyelga. The procession was accompanied by church chants and the continuous ringing of bells from a mobile belfry. At the end of the service, Father Dimitri sprinkled everyone with holy water. After that, everyone could try themselves as a bell-ringer and ring the bells. CDRO Chelyabinsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. All rights reserved.
