Celebrations dedicated to the Day of the Baptism of Rus' and the memory of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir were held in the villages of Pelym and Oustranslated

In the village Pelym hosted festive events dedicated to the Day of the Baptism of Rus' and the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir. The significance of this fateful event for our Fatherland was discussed on Pelymsky television.

July 27 and 28 in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the village. Pelym priest Vasily Kiselyov performed festive services, which attracted numerous parishioners. The prayerful glorification of the great enlightener of Rus' became the central event of church celebrations in the village.

The events in the village of Ous, Ivdel region, were no less significant. There a prayer service was performed with an akathist to the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir. During the meeting with believers, the historical and spiritual significance of the Baptism of Rus' for our people was revealed in detail.

Particular attention was paid to educational work: the head of the administration of the village of Ous and the director of the Tayozhnik cultural center were presented with booklets designed to convey to residents the essence and importance of the great event of the Baptism of Rus'. In addition, information materials were placed on village stands, so information about the holiday became available to a wide audience.
