Entrance tests for applicants were held at the Novosibirsk Orthodox Theological Seminary. Applicants passed exams in the Russian language, history, fundamentals of Orthodox doctrine and were interviewed by the rector and administration of the seminary. Recruitment was carried out in two directions: 03/48/01 Theology (state standard) and Training of ministers and religious personnel of the Orthodox faith (church standard).
