A spring was consecrated in Novosyolki in honor of the apostles Peter and Paultranslated

In the agricultural town of Novoselki, Vetkovsky district, the opening of the historical and cultural project “Spring at the Bridge - the history carried by water” took place.
The project won an open competition of civil initiatives and received a regional grant for implementation. Local residents, government officials and members of the Vetka-Revival initiative group participated in the improvement of the area near the ancient bridge and spring.
The territory was equipped with two wells for spring water, a canopy over the source, topped with a dome and a cross, as well as a bridge for convenient access. The spring is located next to a red brick arched bridge, built in 1913 and still standing today.
The opening ceremony was attended by the dean of the Chechersk district, Archpriest Gennady Khatkevich, the rector of the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the Danilovichi agricultural town, Archpriest Andrei Bulatsky, representatives of local authorities, members of the initiative group and residents of the area.
