On August 30, the 13th week after Pentecost, Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk performed divine services at the St. George Cathedral in the city of Odintsovo.

In the morning, the ruling bishop led the Divine Liturgy. Vladyka Thomas was concelebrated by the clergy of the cathedral. At the special litany, Archbishop Thomas offered a prayer for Holy Rus'. At the end of the Liturgy, a prayer service was served for the beginning of the new school year. At the end of the service, the bishop addressed the worshipers with an archpastoral word and gave a blessing to the students, wishing them God's help in their upcoming labors.

In the evening of the same day, Archbishop Thomas performed a divine service at the St. George Cathedral with the rite of the Burial of the Mother of God. The clergy of the cathedral concelebrated with the Bishop.

Slujba de dimineață cu rugăciunea pentru Sfânta Rusie și apoi molebenul special pentru elevi mi s-a părut foarte potrivit acum, la început de an școlar. Seara, slujba cu Pogrebania Maicii Domnului a fost și ea frumoasă, mai ales că e o tradiție pe care o ținem și noi aici. Mulțumesc pentru detalii, părinte.
