V Kuzbass tourist-patriotic forum “Peaks of military glory: along the path of Heroes” took place in Luzhbatranslated

From July 25 to 26, 2026, the anniversary V Regional Tourist and Patriotic Forum “Peaks of Military Glory” was held in the mountains of Kuznetsk Alatau. The Path of Heroes."

This event is dedicated to the memory of Alexei Nikolaevich Dergach - Hero of the Soviet Union, whose name is forever inscribed in the history of the Great Patriotic War. One of the peaks of the Kuznetsk Alatau is named after him.

The event was attended by the project’s spiritual mentor, head of the youth affairs department of the Novokuznetsk diocese, Archpriest Andrei Ruzanov.

Schoolchildren, students, children and adults from different parts of Kuzbass - Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo, Kaltan, Mezhdurechensk, Prokopyevsk, Osinnikov - came to the forum.

On the first day of the forum, a solemn meeting was held in memory of Alexei Nikolaevich Dergach, Hero of the Soviet Union. At noon, at the chapel, forum participants gathered to honor the memory of the one whose name became a symbol of courage and selfless love for the Motherland. There were heartfelt words of gratitude to the veterans. The meeting ended with the laying of flowers and a minute of silence.

Forum participants - children and adults - climbed the four peaks of the Kuznetsk Alatau, bearing the names of their fellow countrymen:

It's good that they also remember Father Andrej Ruzanov, who was there as a spiritual father. It's nice that children from Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo and the smaller towns went together to the four hills named after heroes. Minutes of silence and flowers at the chapel are always the most powerful.
