The cathedral image and the ark “Holy Matrimony” will be brought to the churches of the city of Samaratranslated

On July 8, on Family Day of Love and Fidelity, dedicated to the memory of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom, for the first time the solemn bringing of the cathedral image and the ark of the “Holy Matrimony” will take place to the temple in honor of Peter and Fevronia of Murom, as well as to the temple in honor of Cyril and Methodius in the city of Samara.

The project is being implemented with the participation of the Samara Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church and the ANO “Academy of Family Values”.

At the cathedral icon and the “Holy Matrimony” ark, prayer services will be performed for peace, health and family well-being on July 8:

From 9:00 to 15:00 in the church in honor of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom (Samara, Stara Zagora St., 222a);

From 16:00 to 20:00 in the church in honor of Saints Cyril and Methodius (Novo-Sadovaya St., 260)

The cathedral image “Holy Matrimony” contains iconographic images of holy spouses who, in different eras and in different life circumstances, showed examples of marital love and fidelity, unanimity, patience, mutual support and joint service to God.
