On the eve of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Lady, our Most Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, the Church of the Ascension of Our Lord in Rossovy hosted students from the GOU "Klyastitskaya Secondary School named after V.A. Khomchenovsky."

With the blessing of the parish priest, protopriest Alexander Gordyevich, his assistant in religious education and catechesis, Svetlana Klimm, conducted a Lesson on Orthodoxy on the topic: "The Meaning and Joy of the Nativity Feast of the Most Holy Theotokos." During the event, the children learned about the meaning and traditions of the feast and received an answer to the question why the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos is called the first harbinger of impending salvation.

Then, for the children, a tour of the church was organized, during which they familiarized themselves with the history of the church and its relics.
