A particle of the relics of Saint Demetrius Donskoi was brought to the main church of the Russian army. I am glad that such patron saints of the army are honest, but I wonder if it would not be more appropriate to stay in some old monastery in Russia, not in such a new place. Anyway, may his prayer help us all.

I think Daniela is right. The monastery of St. Sergius in Sergiev Posad, where most of Donskoi's relics are already located, has been his natural place for centuries. A new building, no matter how big, does not replace tradition.

A particle of Donskoy’s relics was brought to the Main Church of the Armed Forces - this is correct, since the prince himself led the army. And Sergius already has most of it in the Lavra; nothing prevents us from honoring him both there and here. This does not break the tradition, it’s just that now the soldiers are closer to the saint.
