On the day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, residents of the village of Klyuchi celebrated the Patronal Feasttranslated

On September 21, on the feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, the Patronal Feast was held in the church in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Klyuchi, Ust-Kamchatka region. The rector of the church, Priest Sergius Leshchev, performed the Divine Liturgy.

Following the prayer behind the pulpit, Father Sergius performed a festive glorification of the Mother of God, congratulated the parishioners on the holiday and addressed everyone present with a sermon. On the occasion of the Patronal Feast, a religious procession was held.

Community in the village Keys was founded in 1992. In December 1994, the community was given the building of the Druzhba cinema, consecrated by Bishop Nestor (Sapsay) in 1995. Since then, the church has been a place of constant prayer and a subject of care for parishioners.

The services were attended by former military personnel and now priests Archpriest Konstantin Batsatsenko and Priest Sergiy Kizhaev. Much work to increase and strengthen the community and beautify the church was carried out by the second rector, Priest Dimitry Bakurov.

From 2014 to the present, the rector is Priest Sergius Leshchev. With the help of philanthropists, a new iconostasis, a dome with a cross were installed in the church, and the façade of the building was repaired.…
