The Chelyabinsk diocese will celebrate the day of memory of the great martyr and healer Panteleimontranslated

On August 8 and 9, the Chelyabinsk diocese will host festive bishop's services in honor of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon. They will be headed by Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass. On August 8 at 17:00 the Bishop will celebrate the All-Night Vigil at the Holy Trinity Church in Chelyabinsk (Kirova St., 60a). The church houses an ancient icon of the Great Martyr Panteleimon with a particle of his holy relics, brought from Holy Mount Athos. On August 9 at 8:45, Metropolitan Alexy will lead the Divine Liturgy in the St. Panteleimon Church in the village of Rosa (50 Let Oktyabrya St., 11). People have long prayed to the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon for the healing of mental and physical ailments, strengthening in illness and helping doctors. The Chelyabinsk diocese invites believers to take part in festive services and together offer prayers to one of the most revered saints of the Orthodox Church.
