The opening date was not chosen by chance, because... It was on September 11 that the Day of Military Glory of Russia was celebrated - the victory of the Russian squadron under the command of St. Theodore Ushakov at Cape Tendra in 1790.
In the co-service of the clergy, the monument-bust was consecrated by Metropolitan Nikon of Astrakhan and Kamyzyak.
