Oral Orthodox literary and musical magazinetranslated

With the blessing of the rector of the parish of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Novopolotsk, Archpriest Alexander Shakhovich, on September 22, an oral Orthodox literary and musical magazine “Holidays in honor of the Mother of God” was held in the day care department for elderly citizens of the State Institution “Novopolotsk Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population” for the participants of the club “It’s not evening yet.”

The parish librarian Olga Bakunovich told the audience about the holidays and miraculous icons of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as about the churches of the Polotsk land erected in the name of the Queen of Heaven.

The musical part of the event was prepared by teachers and students of the educational institution "Children's Art School No. 1 of Novopolotsk". The accordion ensemble “Zvezdochki” performed works by Belarusian composers, as well as a medley.

In conclusion, the head of the club, Irina Aleksandrovna Dmitrieva, expressed her gratitude to the parish for many years of cooperation.
