It’s good that the metropolitanate supports the Cossacks; in Novosibirsk, too, there are always a lot of people gathering on such holidays. What exactly happened in Perm - a religious procession or a concert with a fair? Interesting, as noted.

In the Perm Metropolis, they usually combined both the procession and the assembly with Kazakh songs, as far as I remember from the past years. Here in Belgrade, on similar slavish days, there is always a roast and a football tournament after the liturgy, so I find it interesting how they connected it. Oleg, have you been to any of those Novosibirsk gatherings?

Here in Iași, during Cossack holidays, our metropolitan usually holds a service outside followed by a meal with sarmales and little ones, I don't really see the connection with football. Oleg, are you done with a football tournament in Novosibirsk or just with a concert? Interesting how each place adapts the work according to local customs.

Here in Kragujevac, at similar celebrations after the liturgy, we always hold a small soccer tournament for children and young people, so I'm curious if they also had something similar in Perm after the procession or if they just sang Cossack songs. Yes, Stefan, with them in Perm, it usually goes as one unit - baptism procession, assembly and Cossack songs in the same place. Here in Kragujevac, after the liturgy, we always make skewers and eat a little, but the football tournament is a very nice custom, we should try it too. Were you at one of those Belgrade gatherings last year?

I read that in Korça we usually have a simple dinner with roasted meat and some homemade bread after the liturgy, without football tournaments. I liked that in Perm they combine the procession with Cossack songs in the same place, it looks calm and united. Does anyone know if they even had a shared table after all that?
