Saint Bartholomew went as far as India, tradition says, and then his relics were taken to the City. I didn't know that we also celebrate this event separately on September 7th. Thanks for the reminder.

Yes, tradition indeed says that it reached India and then the relics went first to the island of Lipari and later to Constantinople. I remember reading in an old book about the church of Saint Bartholomew in Larissa that they also had a small piece of the relics. I was also not aware of this special celebration on September 7th.
