Royal Days at the Ruskoka youth camptranslated

On July 16–17, 2026, on the days of prayerful commemoration of the Holy Royal Martyrs, in the Ruskoka Orthodox camp, located in the province of Ontario in a picturesque area 200 km north of Toronto, festive services were held in the church consecrated in honor of the Holy Martyr Tsarevich Alexy Nikolaevich. It was on these days that the temple celebrated its patronal holiday.

The services were performed by clergy of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Toronto: Priest Valentin Losev and Protodeacon Alexander Morin. The church choir sang under the direction of the regent of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Alexander Pushchin.

During the festive services, more than a hundred pupils, counselors and camp staff began to receive the Sacrament of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a procession of the cross took place around the camp with the sprinkling of holy water on the camp buildings and all those praying. During the procession, prayers were offered for the blessing of the camp, its students, mentors and all those working in the field of Orthodox education of youth.
