Solemn signing of the cooperation program between the regional executive committee and the Brest and Pinsk dioceses of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for 2026–2030translated

On August 20, 2026, the solemn signing of a cooperation program with the Brest and Pinsk dioceses of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for 2026–2030 took place in the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

The document was signed by the chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, Parkhomchik Petr Aleksandrovich, and the ruling bishops - Archbishop of Brest and Kobrin John and Bishop of Pinsk and Luninets Georgy.

This is already the fifth such agreement, which provides for the interaction of state governing bodies and religious organizations of the Belarusian Orthodox Church (Belarusian Exarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate) in various areas. Culture, social protection, promoting the strengthening of the family, motherhood and childhood, upbringing and education, crime prevention, work with people suffering from addictions - the parties agreed to join forces in these and other areas to solve pressing social problems.
