To the Reverend Clergy, the Reverend Monk and the beloved faithful laymen of the Romanian Patriarchate,

Grace, peace and joy from God, and from Us, bishop's blessings!

Worthy of all praise and useful is to honor and glorify those who struggled and pleased God. Praising and extolling His chosen ones, who gained boldness before Him due to their life full of piety and effort, we honor God, as the Lord of the Holy Apostles says: "He who listens to you and Me listens to Me, and he who rejects you rejects Me; and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me" (Luke 10, 16).

By honoring those who shone through their holy lives and became guides to people through deed and word, we fulfill the exhortation of the Holy Apostle Paul, who says: "Remember your elders, who spoke the word of God to you; look carefully at how they...
