Young Germans discover the beauty of Orthodoxy by volunteering at Piatra Fântânele Monasterytranslated

Young Germans discover the beauty of Orthodoxy through volunteer activities at Piatra Fântânele Monastery in Bistrița-Năsăud county, where they participate in a work camp.
The activity takes place between August 15-29 and brings together 20 participants from the Evangelisches Jugendwerk in Württemberg (EJW), the Romanian Orthodox Christian Youth Association (ATCOR) Cluj and young people who grew up and were trained in the monastic establishment.
The participants contribute by volunteering to the development of the new monastic complex and take part in the liturgical program of the monastery, in visits and activities through which they discover the traditions and the specifics of the two Christian communities. Currently, the monastery takes care of 32 children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, through the "A chance for education" project.
