A priest conducted a thematic lesson on Cossack culture for schoolchildrentranslated

At secondary school No. 32 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a thematic lesson was held for students of the 2nd and 3rd Cossack classes, which was conducted by the chairman of the diocesan department for interaction with the Cossacks, Archpriest Pavel Alekseev.

The meeting was dedicated to key Orthodox holidays that have special significance for Cossack culture. The priest, as part of the educational process, spoke about the spiritual meanings of church holidays. The lesson helped the children better understand how Orthodoxy influenced the formation of Cossack traditions and moral values.

At the end of the meeting, the priest answered the children’s questions and blessed them for successful studies.
