Shrines of Grodno landtranslated

On July 9-10, a group of pilgrims from the Ushachi deanery with the blessing of the dean of the Ushachi church district, the rector of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Minodora, Metrodora, Nymphodora. Ushachi priest Alexander Talerenok and his direct participation made a pilgrimage trip to the Grodno region.

We visited: Zhirovitsky monastery, Slonim, Synkovichi, Rusakovo, Kossovo.

The two-day trip had been planned for a long time. The route covered places that were not possible to visit during a one-day trip.

On the first day, we attended the Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Slonim, which was led by the rector of the church, Archpriest Dimitry Syomukha. It is gratifying that on this day it was Dimitry’s father’s birthday. Our group joined in the warm congratulations and wishes that were expressed by numerous guests to the abbot.

Then there was a move to Synkovichi, where the famous temple-fortress of the Archangel Michael is located. In the temple there was a prayer service in front of the miraculous image of the Mother of God “The All-Tsarina”. We learned the history of the temple and its shrines from the guide’s story. We prayed in front of the miraculous image of the Mother of God for our family and friends.
