The priest and sisters of the sisterhood visited the pupils of the orphanage in Oshmyanytranslated

On the eve of one of the brightest and most revered holidays of the Orthodox Church - the Day of Remembrance of the Blessed Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom, symbolizing family, love and fidelity - on July 4, the Oshmyany Varvara parish sisterhood, together with the dean Archpriest Georgy Mukha, made a visit to a children's social shelter. The purpose of the meeting was the spiritual guidance of young students, introducing them to examples of holy life.
Father George offered the children a fascinating immersion into the world of saints by watching a video cartoon calendar. Particular attention was paid to the lives of the holy family of Peter and Fevronia, whose story of love and devotion to each other is a model for many generations. Also presented were the holy apostles Peter and Paul, whose memory the church will also especially honor in the near future. This format allowed children to learn in an accessible way about the lives of people who dedicated themselves to faith and service.
