On July 17, 2026, the rector of the church in the name of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the city of Penza, Archpriest Andrei Polyakov, paid a pastoral visit to the Phoenix Center for Social Adaptation. It's good that Father Andrej talked about the tsarist martyrs, this is a topic that many people in need will address today. Here in Pilsen, we also had a similar discussion in the asylum, and people then mainly asked about how it was with Tsarevich Alexei.

Yes, Tsarist Martyrs really do speak to people who have lost their footing. Here in Olomouc, we talked about them last year at a charity meeting, and one lady said that it helped her to know how the tsar's family also went through such injustice. How long did the conversation last in Pilsen?

Yes, Tsar Martyrs can really reach people in difficult times, you're right. Here in Penza, the conversation with father Andrej lasted about an hour and a half, people mainly asked about how the Romanov family managed humility. And how did it go with the lady from your charity, did it help her in the long run?

Yes, the humility of the Romanovs in captivity will really appeal to a lot of people, we talked about it at a meeting in Prague last month. It helped the lady from the charity mainly in the first few weeks, then she went back to drinking, unfortunately. How long exactly did the conversation with Father Andrej last for you?
