The priest visited the Lida Center for Social Servicestranslated

On the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the head of the diocesan social department? The rector of the Church of All Saints in the city of Lida, Archpriest Vladimir Yaromich, visited the Lida Social Services Center for recipients of services from the department of social rehabilitation and habilitation of the disabled. A folklore holiday program “Apple Savior - a holiday of goodness and transformation” was organized in the courtyard of the institution.
Archpriest Vladimir Yaromich congratulated everyone present on the great holiday, told the story, and introduced them to the traditions and customs of the Orthodox Church. People with special needs celebrated the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord in a special way: with handmade bouquets, with folk games, with apple pies, and, of course, with smiles. This day reminded us that good traditions unite us even more than we think, and make us feel like part of a big, friendly family. During the holiday, everyone played folk games with great pleasure, sang ditties, danced, and guessed riddles. The holiday, where a truly warm family atmosphere reigned, ended with a tea party organized by the department staff together with Father Vladimir.
