On the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the head of the Chelyabinsk Diocese’s Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, Archpriest Dimitry Egorov, visited the Avangard Regional Center for Patriotic Education of Children and Youth in Chebarkul. As part of the Council of Chiefs of Military Units, the priest met with participants in the 11th training camp on the basics of military service. Addressing the high school students, Father Dimitri wished them strength, courage and God's help in mastering military disciplines and serving the Fatherland. The Avangard Center conducts training camps for high school students, implements military-applied and defense-sports programs, and also organizes patriotic events for young people.
