The priest and sisters of mercy visited the wards of the psychoneurological boarding school in the village of Glyadentranslated

On September 24, the full-time cleric of the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in the city of Sharypovo, Priest Alexy Frolov, together with sisters of mercy Vera Andreyanova and Irina Baryshnikova, visited a psychoneurological boarding school in the village of Glyaden.

The meeting began with a prayer service for the health of the sick, after which the priest communed one of the wards with the Holy Mysteries of Christ. Then the sisters of mercy talked with the guests about the meaning of the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, talking about the earthly life of the Virgin Mary. Everyone sang the prayers “Our Father” and “Rejoice to the Virgin Mary” together, after which everyone was sprinkled with holy water.

Father Alexy and the sisters of mercy also spent time on personal communication: they listened to the everyday problems and concerns of the boarding school’s residents and gave them holy water to drink.

It should be noted that, as part of their social service, the clergy of the Sharypovsky deanery provide care for the boarding school on a regular basis.
