Several authors of the journal "Foma" have entered the shortlist of the International Literary Prize "See and Hear".
The shortlist was announced on October 5, 2026, at the press center of TASS news agency, reports the festival website "See and Hear".
According to the head of the jury, Alexei Varlamov, the prize unites both traditional literary genres – short story, novella, essay, and reportage – and modern formats: electronic media and blogging.
He noted that the shortlist includes both well-known authors and new names, and one of the key questions for the jury was the very understanding of contemporary literature addressing Christian and ecclesiastical themes.
— Is the concept of "Orthodox literature" even valid? In my opinion, Russian literature is as the soul, inherently Christian. But in literature, there is a space for people for whom the ecclesiastical theme is especially important, — said Alexei Varlamov.
As for the authors of the journal "Foma", they are represented in various categories.
The chief editor of our publication, Vladimir Legoyda, is included in the category of "Electronic Media"…
