On September 11, on the day of the Beheading of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, during the Divine Liturgy in the Church of St. John the Baptist in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk consecrated Subdeacon Dimitry Vitkov to the deaconate.

Bishop Nikita congratulated Father Dimitri on his ordination and presented him with a liturgical prosphora.

Biography:

Dimitry Vladimirovich Vitkov was born on September 25, 1995 in the city of Krasnoyarsk. In 2014 he graduated from secondary school No. 5 in the city of Krasnoyarsk. In 2018 he graduated from the Siberian Federal University with a degree in mechanical engineering.

On September 10, 2023, in the Church of St. John the Baptist in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Metropolitan Panteleimon performed ordination as a subdeacon. Bears the obedience of a subdeacon under Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk.

Since 2023, he has been studying at the Barnaul Theological Seminary (4th year).

Married, he and his wife have a son.
