Employees of Ostrovets Regional Emergency Situations Group gathered for joint prayer on National Unity Daytranslated

On September 17, the country celebrates National Unity Day, and Orthodox believers celebrate the memory of the Burning Bush icon of the Mother of God. On this day, employees of the ROCHS came to a prayer service at the Ostrovetsky Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.

After the prayer service, the dean of the churches of the Ostrovets district, Archpriest Georgy Savitsky, read a prayer in front of the Burning Bush icon of the Mother of God and addressed the worshipers with words of edification. The priest spoke about the importance of faith and prayer in the life of every Christian and sprinkled everyone with holy water.
