Employees of the diocesan missionary department took part in a webinar on monitoring the activities of religious organizationstranslated

On September 17, the Interdiocesan Department for Coordination of Missionary Work of the Moscow Metropolis held a training webinar for the heads of diocesan missionary departments and those responsible for missionary work in the deaneries of the dioceses of the Moscow Metropolis. The topic of the webinar was “Methodology for monitoring the activities of religious organizations in the Moscow region.”

The event was opened by the head of the Interdiocesan Department of the Moscow Metropolis, Chairman of the Missionary Department of the Odintsovo Diocese, Archpriest Ilya Nastevich. In his opening remarks, he noted that monitoring the activities of religious organizations is one of the areas of the apologetic mission carried out by employees of missionary departments.

Archpriest Ilya Nastevich emphasized the need for a systematic study of the activities of religious organizations operating in the territory of the canonical responsibility of dioceses, which makes it possible to timely receive information about ongoing processes and take it into account when organizing missionary and apologetic work.
