Diocesan Biblical and Theological Courses graduatedtranslated

Another graduation took place at the Diocesan Biblical and Theological Courses of the Gomel Diocese. On September 21, teachers and graduates gathered in the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in Gomel, where a thanksgiving prayer was held.

After the service, certificates of completion of the courses were presented. Archpriest Artemy Krivitsky, Chairman of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Gomel Diocese, congratulated the graduates and presented them with certificates and diplomas.

This year, 16 people completed their training, six of them with honors. Three graduates - Liliya Anatolyevna Zhukova, Elena Evgenievna Basova and Irina Aleksandrovna Shalobasova - received certificates with the qualification “Sunday school teacher and missionary catechist”.

The meeting ended with a festive meal. The teachers wished the graduates to apply the acquired knowledge in further works and church service. In turn, the graduates thanked their mentors for their time of study, knowledge and experience gained.
