A meeting of the organizing committee of the Regional Christmas Readings was heldtranslated

On September 17, 2026, in the building of the diocesan administration, under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Maximilian of Irkutsk and Angarsk, the first working meeting of the organizing committee of the Regional Stage of the XXXXV International Christmas Educational Readings took place. The theme of this year’s Readings is “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies.” The working meeting was attended by representatives of the Diocesan departments: Education, Youth, Social, Department for Work with the Cossacks, Missionary, Publishing, Military, Information, as well as representatives of the Commission for Culture of the Irkutsk Diocese and the Commission for Physical Culture and Sports, who were actively involved in the discussion and planning of events for the upcoming Regional educational readings, which will be held from October 26 to November 10 2026. The grand opening of the Regional Stage of Christmas Readings in Irkutsk will take place on October 28, 2026.
