The inauguration of the elected head of the region took placetranslated

On October 2, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Alexey Russkikh, officially took office. The inauguration ceremony of the elected head of the region took place at the Governor's People's Friendship Palace.

The event was attended by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Consuls General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan Eric Beishembiev, the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan Nodirzhon Kasimov and the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan Erlan Iskakov, heads of Russian regions, representatives of foreign states and the business community, heads of companies and enterprises of the Ulyanovsk region, public organizations, representatives of authorities, social institutions, participants in a special military operation.

The ceremony was attended by the bishops of the Simbirsk Metropolis: Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky, Bishop of Melekessky and Cherdaklinsky Diodorus, Bishop of Baryshsky and Inzensky Alexander.

The governor read out the text of the oath. Then the honored guests of the event spoke, and the congratulatory telegrams received from the country’s leadership and heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation were announced.

Metropolitan Longin conveyed the congratulations of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill to the head of the region.
